Rooting, unlocking bootloader, flashing custom roms with cracked screen

I'm wondering if it's possible to root, unlock bootloader or flash custom roms on Z Ultra without working screen?
I'd like to root in order to disable screen when using MHL. Have anyone tried that? I have factory stock Z Ultra with 4.4.4.
