I bought my LG G3 D851 brand new. As soon as I charged it and powered up I got a notice for a system upgrade. Naturally I did it. So it made Lollipop 5.0.1 on my phone. My next step was to root it. Well that's when the hell started. There several guides and tutorials. None are working. I'm with Wind Mobile in Canada 🍁. Not that that should matter should it? My question is will I be able revert my firmware back to the original and root it easily.? I was told that trying to root with 🍭 is not likely going to work. How can I put my phone back to the "out of the box" state so I can root it?
