[ROM][5.1.1] CyanoZenMod 12.1

CyanoZenMod is a modded version of CyanogenMod, which is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community.

ROM Features:

• Stable, no lags


• Marshmallow Bootanimation


• QuickBoot


• Additional Applications:
  - ASUS Camera
  - Material Icon Pack
  - Melior UI - Theme
  - Muzei - Background (including APOD and 1337walls)
  - Playful Flat - Theme
  - Root Explorer
  - ViPER4AndroidFX - Audio Effects
  - Xposed

Bugs:

• Cellular network does not work after turning off Airplane Mode (same for after coming back from QuickBoot)
  Workaround: Do a (fast) reboot


• Video recorded in 1080p lags
  Workaround: Record videos on 720p


• Snapchat face effects lags (probably because of Camera lag)
  No Workaround


• ASUS PC Link does not work
  Workaround: Try a similar application.

NOTICE: As the kernel is a stock-based Kernel, it does not have Deep Sleep but, the battery backup is extremely good.

Installation Guide (You'll need a little experience to install this ROM):

1. Install the Intel USB Driver for Android Devices


2. Download all the required files


3. Copy the System Image to your Phone Internal Storage Root (via MTP)


4. Turn off your device, boot on DroidBoot mode (Power + Volume Up)


5. Unlock your device with "Bootloader Unlock Tool"


6. Flash the TWRP Recovery


7. Flash the Kernel (boot-20151217.img)


8. Reboot your device to Recovery Mode (pressing Recovery on DroidBoot or using Power + Volume Down)


9. On Recovery, go to Advanced -> Terminal Command and choose the directory you copied the System DD Image and execute the following command:

10. Back to recovery, go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe and select Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data and Internal Storage, then Wipe.


11. Reboot your device
