CyanogenMod is a free, community built distribution of Android which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.

What's working

• Boots


• Touchscreen


• GPIO keys (home, power, volume rockers)


• EGL kinda works (basic display rendering, screenshots works)


• Storage (both internal and external)


• Lights


• Sensors


• WiFi


• Vibrators


• App Installation

What's not working
List is long, mostly the ones not mentioned in 'What's working' list. Key ones are :

• Audio - I am afraid, its broken to HAL level, I have no idea how much I have to hax and patch to get it working.


• Camera - Will be fixed soon, just need to patch libbinder.


• HWComposer - Again it will be fixed soon, libbinder patch needed.


• RIL - Status same as CM10.1, needs to be worked in framework level.


• Bluetooth - Same as CM10.1.


• Web Browsing - This is due to missing libs and jars. The libs needed for that are too damn large, which my build PC cannot handle. Builds with proper web browsing will be provided by @Dreamstar I hope.

Note :- There will be random reboots and crashes all over, you might face random reboots while booting, do not consider as a bootloop. If your phone has freezed, press and hold the power button for 8-10s to restart. This is just a preview build, not for daily use.

Installation Instructions

• You must have a SELinux enabled recovery, as of now TWRP 2.8.1.0 supports that, CWM 6.0.5.1 with proper SELinux support will be available soon.


• Put the ROM zip in phone.


• Boot to recovery, do a factory reset, flash the ROM.


• Reboot.
