Sorry if this thread has been made before but I have been a long time android user basically since the note 1 but when Apple released the iPhone 6 plus I switched to it and actually liked it a lot. I stuck with it, and got the iPhone 6s plus when that came out and have had that for a while. I like it but iOS does start to get boring after a while even with jailbreaking. I definitely miss the rooting and customization of Android and have never owned a Nexus device so stock Android has always intrigued me. One of the main reasons I got rid of the note was I was getting sick of touchwiz and I truthfully never really used the s pen anyway.
Well, I came across an opportunity to trade someone my iPhone 6s plus for a brand new Nexus 6p and I am wondering if I should dive back into the world of Android. I will say right away one thing about Apple is the apps are better and more refined, but in my experience at least with the note the touchscreen on the note was way better than on the iPhone. When Swyping on the iPhone the screen constantly loses contact with my finger and I have to delete the word and start all over again.
I am just wondering if anyone here that perhaps has had experience with both phones could give me an idea of what to expect. I would just go out and try the nexus at my local store but obviously they aren't sold in stores and the person I am buying it from has it brand new factory sealed so once I open it, I pretty much have to take the deal. One big question I have that I have seen a lot of mixed answers to in my research is, does the Nexus show Bluetooth device battery life in the status bar like the iPhone does?
I appreciate any and all input and I apologize again if this thread has been made a whole bunch of times.
