Horrible battery life playing games = 5.1.1

Since the 5.1.1 update, when I play any games the battery life drains fast. Netflix and other entertainment apps appear to work fine, yet anything with decent graphics kills my battery. I'm currently on stock 5.1.1
Anyone else having this same problem?
