Recently converted my European M8 EE branded (CID ORANG_01) to the DevEd (CID BS_US001) and adjusted the MID to the DevEd one (0P6B12000). Just in the process of updating to Marshmallow as I type. I have a question about recovery however. How do you know which stock recovery is the correct one?
So for example, once I had changed my CID/MID I had flashed a TWRP stock DevEd KitKat backup and also a stock recovery for the DevEd.
The question I have though is how to determine which stock recovery I should use? Like, do I choose a recovery that was relevant to what my handset used to be i.e. a European variant. Or do I now find the latest stock recovery for the DevEd, which, for all intents and purposes I have now converted too?
