CrashMonitor.apk IS KILLING MY PHONE!

I got my C5 Ultra a few days ago and love it. But quickly I noticed it's usually a bit warm and the battery dies on me really really fast. This is phone is both the worse battery performer I've ever had AND at same time, ironically takes forever to get charged.. I don't get it..

Anyway, I installed a CPU Monitoring app, quickly to realize that a useless system app called CrashMonitor.apk is active at 50% CPU usage non-stop. There is no option to Disable it and even if I force close it, seconds later is back. And since there is no root for this phone, I can't do what I what I would like which is simply to the delete the app from the system directory, period.

This is killing my phone. Is Sony even aware of this issue? Why isn't there soon sort of an update to fix this asap?

And next is another useless system app that also cannot be turned off (or even terminated) called SmartScreenRotation. Even if I turn off or on manually the screen rotation toggle, the app is active eating a staggering 190Mb of RAM and up to 35% CPU usage on jumps every few seconds.

Why I ever bought another Sony phone is my ultimate awe after having had 2 before and being nothing but an endless nightmares. And why I didn't check if there was root for this device already available before I bought it (I stupidly assumed there would be since it's an Xperia common phone), it's another slap on my face's obvious stupidity.

I'm working with several developers on trying to get this a recovery and root but the lack of source code from MediaTech and other things is making this a tough one..

If anyone is experiencing the same issues with CrashMonitor.apk and SmartScreenRotation and has found a workaround, please share it. I've tried a few apps and work arounds to get these frozen, but no deal. Without root, can't do. I'm going crazy with this.

Sony should sell phones with a full bottle of prescription strength Tylenol as a free gift, haha:)
