Choppy video recording after upgrade to 6.0.1

I've upgraded to 6.0.1 from 5.1. Phone is rooted.
When I record video (in 1080p) it staggers often and for good few seconds. It affects recording. Not only video, but even sound is choppy...
It feels like it's not getting enough CPU power.
Any idea what it can be?
