I've been installing custom ROMs/recovery on Android devices for years and is the first time I've run across one that recovery must be booted from fastboot. Just got the Fire tablet and want to install CM12.1 variant.
So do I have to use fastboot from computer just to boot recovery only when needed but once ROM is installed it will boot on its own? Just want to confirm before diving in. Thanks in advance.
