My thought process behind this thread is to discuss the battery usage of specific apps that people are interested in. I know I see lots of comments on some of the biggies in the "you should be getting 900 hours of SOT" threads, but there are so many others and since those threads are impossible to keep up with I thought this might be a useful idea.
So that said, let me start with my question.
Any one use MightyText and have done a reasonable test on battery impact? I've used it for a long time, without significant battery impact on older android builds. But with Doze the current recommending is to turn off Battery Optimizations for the program.
I've done so, but only recently. I'm keeping an eye on it, but don't have a very good baseline since my 6p is only about 48 hours old.
